Terms
The rules for using Vibeconferencing, written to be read. It is a beta run by two people; these terms are short because the product is.
Last updated 11 September 2026. Vibeconferencing is run by Stan James and Seth Goldstein. Contact: jimmy@vibeconferencing.com. By signing in, downloading the app, or booking a call with Jimmy you agree to what is on this page.
What you are getting
- The app is open source under the MIT license โ the license in its repository is the one that governs the code. It runs on your computer and on your own Claude subscription. You are the operator of any bot it puts in a meeting.
- The website gives you sign-in, shared whiteboards and (optionally) calendar-based joining.
- Call Jimmy is a free half-hour call with a bot we host. Bookings are reviewed by a person before they are confirmed, and we can decline or cancel one.
Everything is beta: it can break, change or stop without notice. It is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind.
Your responsibilities
- Consent in the room. You bring a bot into meetings with other people. You are responsible for telling them, for following the recording and consent laws where you and they are, and for what the bot does there. The bot announces itself with a name and a face and cannot join invisibly; the rest is on you.
- Your account. Keep your Google account secure. Anything done from your session is yours.
- Board links are share links. Anyone with a room link can read the board. Don't put on a board what you wouldn't send to everyone in the meeting.
- The hosted bot. When you book a call with Jimmy you get a conversation, a board and a demo. Don't try to make the hosted bot run code, reach other systems, or act outside the call. Trying is grounds for ending the call and refusing further bookings.
What you may not do
Use Vibeconferencing to break the law, to harass or impersonate people, to record people without the consent your jurisdiction requires, to send spam, or to attack the service, its hosting, or other users. We can suspend or remove an account for any of these.
Content
What your bot writes on a board is yours and your meeting's; you grant us only the right to store and display it so the product works. We don't claim it and we don't use it for anything else.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost data, or for what a bot said or did in your meeting. If you have paid us nothing, our total liability to you is nothing; otherwise it is capped at what you paid in the previous three months.
Ending things
You can stop using Vibeconferencing at any time; ask us to delete your account and we will. We can suspend access if these terms are broken, and we will tell you why unless the law says we can't.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and say so on the site. Continuing to use the product after that is agreement to the new version.
